Encourage Passion
We want to empower young girls and boys to discover and pursue their passions where opportunities may be limited. 22.7% of people in Philly have a low-income job that is unable to sustain their kid's interests. That is three hundred ninety-one thousand seven hundred fifty people with such limited opportunities. For this reason, we created this nonprofit so everyone has a chance to do what they love.
Our Story
When I first started coding I was amazed and fascinated at how much could be done with one thing. Knowing the language of coding allowed me to create not just games and forms but a whole sentient AI if I wanted to. Learning this helped me cope with COVID-19 as though my body was physically trapped in my house, at least my mind wasn't. During COVID-19, all the issues with underserving communities were also finally brought to light, commencing my passion for service.
A couple of years later, and here we are now, I decided to create this nonprofit to help young curious kids, similar to myself, discover the fascinating world of 0s and 1s. Nobody knows what they are passionate about until they try, but for a lot of these families, they don't have the chance too. This non-profit aims to change that by teaching kids about coding and AI and helping them discover themselves and their minds.
